It’s a long time since I spoke to you to renew my ‘prescription’ for MKM and a lot warmer too! Thank you for publishing the pattern of the little bag I made. I’m now experimenting with something similar using the garter carriage and Sable Crêpe used double. Doing stocking stitch means I can use the garter carriage without a needle and I’ll let you know how I get on.

I’ve just got back from being away for seven weeks with my daughter to find an enormous amount of post to go through, including my magazines. It seems to me that machine knitting is picking up in the UK, as it has here in North America.
