How do I use balls of wool on a knitting machine?

I live in London and I’d like to pay someone to supply ten chunky knitted rectangles for me, measuring roughly 20 inches by 15 inches. It’s for a project I’m working on, but I’ve no access to a knitting machine or I’d try to do it myself.

Please could somebody help me? I’m not a new knitter, but I’ve an awful lot of trouble drawing necklines and the top cap of a sleeve.
