Hello, Am stuck trying to obtain a 28st/40r tension..
I have a new cone of Bramwell Fine 4 ply and my tension samples are reading 31st/36r on T7., 30st/35r on T7, 29st/34r on T6.., I’m finding it impossible to get a standard 4ply tension and all the patterns I have require the usual 28/40.
Can a wiser knitter than me give me some advice please?

I have had my Knitmaster electronic knitting machine for years (model 560) and it has NEVER let me down. I may have said nasty things to it but IT didn’t go wrong, I did! However, the problem with the lace carriage is beyond me.

The Cancer Research Shop in Chorley has been given a Toyota hole punch (still in its box), Marion Nelson cards (complete sweater set), a green ruler, a lot of punch cards (some blank) and a Knit Leader KL116 instruction book. I need to store my coned yarn. Has anyone come acroo some way of stacking cones of yarn other than on shelving, or maybe they know of somethink commercially produced. Any help would be greatfully accepted.
