Hi MKM
I’m fairly new to machine knitting and have a question. Please could you advise me on how to shape armholes. After you cast off (for example 5 sts at beg of next two rows) if you’ve taken the carriage from right to left and now are ready to decrease stitches at the end of each row, would you take the carriage back to the right first to then start your decreasing? I look forward to hearing from you soon.

I am told to place stitches in UWP and in HP and to wrap. What am I wrapping and in what position is UWP please? Thanks.
