Hi
I’ve inherited a Knitmaster 700 and SRP60N ribber and the carriage jams when I try to cast on for rib knitting. I’ve bought a new sponge bar and followed the manual but when trying to run the carriages over needles to set them ready to cast on in rib, the carriage gets jammed on the ribber needles. Can anyone shed any light on the reason. I’ve followed all the instructions very carefully and made sure all the levers are in the correct positions.

I want to make a hat, some mittens or something with my favorite dogs on - a poodle and Yorkshire terrier. I’ve imagined a Fair Isle pattern with these dogs in it, so they’d have to be as small as posible. Can anyone help me?
